Adam Duvall left Saturday's game with what was believed to be a minor wrist injury, unfortunately it was more serious than that, and now Duvall will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing wrist surgery.
Alex Anthopoulos was already expecting to be active ahead of the August 2nd trade deadline, as he has been in previous seasons, but the Duvall injury may have forced his hand says 92.9 The Game Braves Insider Grant McAuley.

"Ian Anderson has not looked like the pitcher he has been the past couple of years, right now losing Adam Duvall is a more pressing need," says McAuley. "You haven't gotten what you need out of Eddie Rosario, you don't want Marcell Ozuna in left field, and Duvall low-key has been one of the Braves best hitters for a month now. If I'm Alex Anthopoulos I'm looking for ways to get back some of that production and maybe find someone versatile enough to play a few spots in addition to some kind of veteran to help stabilize the rotation if Ian Anderson's struggles continue."
The Braves current left field options include Eddie Rosario, Guillermo Heredia, and Marcell Ozuna, none of whom one would described as the ideal every-day player.
