Around the yard with the Braves as Bally Sports Braves analyst Paul Byrd joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the team's pitching staff and what’s his biggest concern for our Braves?

When talking about the team’s pitching staff.

“Charlie Morton didn’t get better because he just had a couple good games, he made an adjustment in his delivery. All mechanics, all motion going towards home plate, that’s translated to near no-hitter stuff his last couple outings and when I see something like that, that tells me ok, I hope to get this the rest of the year, this wasn’t just a fluke where he had a good game, he changed and made a big difference, so that’s huge,” Byrd said. “And Smyly’s coming around, Smyly for whatever reason five wins in a row consecutively, six and 0 in his last seven-eight starts, he’s been really good. He’s your last guy kinda, so your like ok, Fried is back together so I really feel good about the rotation moving forward.”

“My biggest concern with this whole team moving forward is the bullpen.”
