The Atlanta Falcons had a big vision of what could be in 2024. That vision came to a crashing end on Sunday when the team's playoff hopes were dashed with a win by the Buccaneers and their own loss to the Carolina Panthers. All of these factors lead to many questions including who is the most responsible for the failures?
GM Terry Fontenot, head coach Raheem Morris and quarterback Kirk Cousins are all at the forefront of the issues. Coaching miscues at critical times, draft misses and an unprecedented falloff from Cousins all lent a hand to the collapse that cost the team a playoff berth for the seventh consecutive season.
The Falcons' mantra this season has been that all major decisions have been a collaborative effort. Now the question becomes if the entire team deserves blame or if it is a singular voice that needs to take a hit?
