On Monday Randy McMichael and Nick Kayal (in for Andy Bunker) asked 92.9 The Game Braves Reporter Joe Patrick who should start on the mound for tomorrow night’s road game at the Milwaukee Brewers.
“I think that Spencer Strider, this could be his opportunity to finally get his chance to make a start. Of course when it came around last time and he was a question to potential pitch in that game, he obviously had an opener for him but he went out and pitched very well after that,” said Patrick when asked who should start.
“Even if he does go out there as a starter, it’s not like he necessarily has to go 6 or 7 innings or even 5 innings. It could be more of a bullpen type game,” Patrick added.
Patrick went on to discuss the other options the Braves could go with if they don’t choose Spencer “Stache” Strider in the audio clip above.
