Radio.com MLB insider Jon Heyman joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the latest with the Braves and Marcell Ozuna, plus is there an AL east talent that the Braves could be interested in?

Heyman talked about the market for Ozuna.

“He switched agents two months ago thinking he would have big deals around the corner and I’m hearing he doesn’t have those deals at all, he was fantastic last year.” Heyman said “When he’s happy, he’s great and he was great last year, I’m a little surprised Atlanta hasn’t been able to come together with him but it’s all about the asking price.”

Heyman said the Braves have been investigating other options as well.

“The Braves are investigating a lot of other things at this moment, maybe they will figure it out at some point. I’ve heard they’ve even called the Orioles about Trey Mancini who’s a fantastic hitter, I think of him as a first baseman but can play the outfield. I think they’re leaving no stone unturned, and they’re looking at every potential guy who can hit, coming to hit. Obviously that would make quite a story that he missed last year with cancer and will be back this year god willing.”
