Closing out this week on, On Point with Juandolyn Stokes, Juandolyn was joined by Dr. Aaron Turpeau, The Black Love Doctor-just in time for Valentine's Day. Dr. Turpeau talked about the strength of Black Love, which he said is rooted in the Black woman. "Black women are the stalwarts and hold the Black family together," he said. He also shared that we should work toward becoming more interdependent so we can grow stronger together in our relationships. Dr. Turpeau said that while communications is key in any relationship, most people are not good communicators, something else we need work towards becoming. For those of you who are still single, he encourages you not to be afraid to explore internet dating, particularly on premium websites where candidates are more vested in finding real relationships.
