Ms. Adorno spoke about her deep-rooted connection to music, noting that her family's influence played a major role in shaping her passion for singing. Though music has always been a part of her life, she revealed that she never initially saw it as a career path, even though it served as an emotional escape for her during challenging times.
Her new single, Be Enthroned, represents a powerful anthem of faith. Ms. Adorno described the track as a call for individuals to invite God into their lives, placing Him at the center of their hearts and worship. The song, a collaboration with Singer Joe L. Barnes, carries a message of unconditional love and spiritual renewal, aiming to reach listeners from all walks of life, whether they are faith-driven or seeking spiritual guidance.
The conversation also touched on Ms. Adorno's shift from being a background singer and songwriter with Maverick City Musica to launching her solo career. While her time with Maverick City shaped her as an artist, the decision to go solo has been both a challenge and an opportunity for growth. Ms. Adorno expressed excitement about stepping into the spotlight and the chance to bring her unique voice to a broader audience.
As a third-generation Latina, Ms. Adorno also highlighted how her bilingual background influences her music and allows her to bridge cultural gaps. She expressed her belief that the music industry is becoming more inclusive of diverse sounds and voices, offering space for different cultures and languages to be represented.
Looking ahead, Ms. Adorno is preparing for the release of her upcoming project, Enthronado: My Heart, Your Home, which is set to drop on January 31. The single Be Enthroned is available on all digital platforms, and an extended version is available on YouTube. Ms. Adorno's solo career is picking up momentum, and she plans to continue performing and collaborating with other artists in the coming year.
Ms. Adorno also offered encouragement to anyone uncertain about their career paths, urging them to take the next step, even if it means stepping out of their comfort zone. She emphasized that growth often comes from taking risks, and even failure can offer valuable lessons.
