The Mental Space host Sean Garvey talks to the organizers and coordinator of the upcoming Malcolm X Festival 2023.
Garvey's special guests Iras Levi and Mshairi (coordinator and host of the Malcolm X Festival) discuss the impact Malcolm X left behind to bring the community together for this annual event. Levi also explains the mental health aspect prior to curating the festival and the importance of connecting African-American people to their original roots.
