Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump made headlines with his remarks about Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and his family. In a series of statements, Trump criticized Kemp, who has been a prominent figure in the Republican Party. Trump off the back of his debacle at the NABJ, reiterated his claims that the election was marred by fraud and suggested that Kemp did not do enough to address these allegations. Trump's critiques also extended to Kemp's overall performance as governor, which he characterized as ineffective and detrimental to Republican interests.
Derrick Boazman reacted to these comments and was taken aback by how freely former president Trump was allowed to speak about a beloved governor of one of the most important states in the country when it comes to election season. Derrick also highlighted the amount of times Trump has been allowed to completely attack politicians and their families. Election season has officially started here in Georgia. Buckle up Atlanta.
