The Atlanta Falcons just finished off back-to-back days of scrimmaging against the Miami Dolphins. Head coach Arthur Smith was looking forward to getting down to Miami to get a good look at his guys up against the Dolphins in a controlled environment.

The Falcons were looking to get a better evaluation because both the offensive line and defensive line have to improve in order for Smith's first season as head coach to be successful.

D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal Constitution, joined The Jon Chuckery Show to discuss how both lines performed.

“The offensive line, they got a big hole at left guard,” Ledbetter said. Journeyman offensive lineman Josh Andrews has worked mostly with the starters, but he did not have a good showing in the preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Falcons are at a point where they have a guy that really hasn’t done anything to solidify himself as a legitimate starter in the NFL, and they will have to make a decision as to whether or not they will seek outside help at that position.
