As the first week of the NFL free agency signing period nears its end, the Atlanta Falcons have announced several of their free agent signings have become official, including wide receiver, Jahan Dotson, who became a free agent in 2026 after two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Jahan can go. I’m a Jahan Dotson fan,” CBS NFL analyst and two-time Super Bowl champion, Bryant McFadden, said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell to discuss the Falcons’ and their free agent signings and explaining why he believes Dotson is good pick up for the team.
“I think he was mis-utilized throughout his time in Washington, and clearly going to Philly, he wasn’t even the third best option, he was the fourth best option with Dallas Goedert behind DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown,” McFadden said of the former Penn State wide receiver’s four year NFL career.
“If you’re Jahan Dotson, you’re going to have matchups where it’s pretty much just you and whoever. This is his time to shine and I know he’s been wanting the opportunity,” McFadden said. “Regardless of the quarterback concerns, just matchup related, Jahan Dotson, he should be in a position where he can really have a nice year,” McFadden said.
