PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (670 The Score) -- The Bears gained just nine yards of offense in the first half of against the Eagles on Sunday, an output that marked the fewest yards a team has posted at halftime in 40 years, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Each of the Bears' six drives ended in a punt by Pat O'Donnell. Only eight of their 20 official snaps on offense gained yardage. Their longest gain came on a seven-yard run by quarterback Mitchell Trubisky late in the second quarter.
The Bears moved the chains only twice in the first half and were 0-for-6 on third-down conversions. They also committed eight penalties for 56 yards.
Despite the Bears' historically poor performance on offense, they trailed the Eagles only 12-0 at halftime.
