CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Illinois has 1,541 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and just one confirmed death – a man downstate in Bond County who was in his 90s.
The last time Illinois saw just one death in a given 24-hour time period was in late March, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The seven-day statewide positivity rate is 3.7 percent.

Illinois now has a total of 171,424 cases of new coronavirus including 7,398 deaths.
