Renita D. Young is an award-winning broadcast and digital journalist with nearly 20 years in the news business, covering business and financial markets for leading outlets including Bloomberg TV/Radio, Reuters TV, and Schwab Network. She has reported on crime, education, and politics, anchoring live breaking news and producing stories for digital platforms.
Beyond the newsroom, Young is a Les Brown–Certified speaker and an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she teaches multimedia storytelling. A former WBBM web producer, she’s excited to return in this new role and contribute her voice and vision to the station’s legacy of trusted reporting.
