The Cubs' Marquee Sports Network will move from Comcast's 'Popular' tier to its 'Ultimate' tier on October 1st, a few days after the baseball regular season ends.
Comcast says customers who want to switch to the 'Ultimate' tier so they can keep watching Cubs games next season will have to pay an additional 20-dollars per month.
Customers who remain on the 'Popular' tier will see their regional sports fee go down.
