CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A business owner in Irving Park is evaluating the safety of his work space after a shooting leads a car to crash into this building.

Chicago police said it was shortly after 10 a.m. and people inside two cars headed eastbound on Irving Park Road were shooting at each other. One of the cars crashed into a building near Kilbourn and the drivers of both cars continued shooting and then took off.

The owner of a pharmaceutical consulting firm in the building found one of the bullets. He told CBS 2 there may be some damage in the building that was his zen spot and his office.

"It's my command central, and you could hear what's going on. We may have structural issues that we have to deal with now with architects," Steven Bennett said.

No one was injured and no one is in custody.
