A Chicago police officer was injured when a large fight broke out on the city's North Side Monday morning.
The fight was reported in the Northalsted neighborhood just before 3 a.m. near North Halsted Street and Belmont Avenue.
Chicago police said a male officer injured his back while trying to arrest someone.
He was brought to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in fair condition.
The suspect was taken into custody, and no other injuries were reported.
The North Side neighborhood had been filled with crowds all weekend with the return of Chicago's Pride Fest, though it's unclear if the fight was connected to any of the events.
