CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - People in the South Shore neighborhood are being warned about a series of armed robberies that have been happening in their community.
The hold-ups happened between a week ago Sunday and last Tuesday in South Shore. They took place on 73rd and Blackstone, 73rd Street near Constance and 72nd and East End Avenue. One was in the late afternoon. The other two were in the overnight hours.
Police said two armed men approached their victims and demanded the victims' belongings. The victims complied and the robbers ran off. The suspects were wearing black clothing and masks.
Area One detectives are investigating.
