CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago police are looking for the driver of a car that hit and killed a senior citizen on the North Side late Tuesday night.
Police said that shortly after 10:30 p.m., a 69-year old woman was crossing the 5100 block of North Broadway when a black car hit her and kept going.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Soyfa Athamanah. She was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Police are asking anyone who knows who anything about the crash or the driver to call them.
