CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Celebrate the season of love and join PAWS Chicago for the Big Love Adoption Event!

The Big Love Adoption Event runs now through Wednesday, Feb. 16 at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center, located at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave. This event hopes to find homes for select large dogs who are 40 pounds and greater, who are searching for a loving family.

PAWS Chicago said big dogs can be more challenging to find homes for in the hustle and bustle of the city, so many of these pets would love to find suburban and city homes with fenced yards to play in.
Additionally, PAWS Chicago offers extensive resources to help pets make a seamless transition into their new homes and provides a lifetime safety net for every animal, ensuring that if something happens to the adopter, their PAWS pet will always be cared for. The no-kill shelter said each adopted sweetie will go home with a special “care package” from PAWS Chicago, including a leash and harness, a crate, and a special toy to sweeten the transition to their new home.

Take the ComPETibility quiz here.
Each animal is unique and has different needs. Prospective adopters should complete the PAWS Chicago ComPETibility Quiz and Adoption Application to help match them with the perfect pet based on their lifestyle and home environment. Then make an appointment to visit the Lincoln Park Adoption Center to meet all of the adoptable dogs waiting to find their other half.
