CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The Illinois State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on inbound I-57 Thursday morning.
Shots were fired at a car driving in the inbound lanes of I-57 near Halsted, at around 5 a.m., police said. A person was transported to Christ Hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
The inbound lanes were closed for nearly a half hour, as the ISP surveyed the scene.
No one is in custody.
