CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred last night on an “El” platform.
It happened at about 10:00 p.m. at the Green Line stop at Lake and Ashland.
According to police, two men were arguing. One had a knife and he stabbed the other man in the neck and ran away.
The knife was still in the man’s neck. He pulled it out and found police officers nearby. They took him to Stroger Hospital, where he was in fair condition.
Incidents like this on El platforms are often captured by high-def surveillance cameras. It's unclear if that’s the case here.
