37-year-old Absalom Hall pleaded guilty last December to charges including wire fraud.
Federal prosecutors say in 2020 and 2021, Hall submitted applications for Paycheck Protection Program loans that contained false information about his business.

Last Friday, a judge ordered Absalom Hall to pay an $85,000 penalty, to pay more than $30,000 in restitution to the IRS, and sentenced Hall to three years in prison.
