A Lake Geneva, Wisconsin man who was carried away during his arrest at Wrigley Field has been charged with trespassing and battery.

Blake Dodd, 25, was charged with a felony count of criminal trespassing in a place of public amusement and misdemeanor counts of battery and illegal conduct within sports facilities, Chicago police said.

Dodd attempted to access the field at Wrigley Field, 1060 W. Addison St., around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, a couple of hours before the Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers played, police said.

Dodd then kicked a 35-year-old man before he was escorted from the field, police said. The man who was kicked declined medical attention.

"Ahead of last night's game, an individual accessed the field without authorization and was removed from the ballpark," a spokesperson for the Cubs said earlier.

Dodd is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.
