(WBEN) Buffalo police are investigating 7 people shot in two overnight incidents.Ferry-Fillmore officers responded to 500 block of Fillmore Avenue at approximately 4:20am. Police say five people were struck by gunfire during some type of gathering. Authorities say the injuries to one of the victims appears serious in nature. The five were transported to Sisters Hospital and also ECMC.Around the same time Buffalo police say two people were struck by gunfire in the leg area just before 4:30am in the 200 block of Fuhrmann Boulevard.
Police say the incident happened during some type of impromptu gathering. Authorities say the injuries to the two appear non-life threatening.
