Amherst, NY (WBEN) Amherst Police have now identified the five UB students involved in a crash involving a police officer.
The occupants of the vehicle are students from the University at Buffalo and have been identified as:
Brenna Sullivan, 20Cara Wojtach, 20Mary Devaney, 20Savanna Hinten, 20Sophia Calleo, 19
Police say Officer John Rusch was responding to an in progress call for service and was involved in a crash late last Friday night at the intersection of Sweet Home and Sheridan.
No information on the crash or the student's conditions are being released.
Police say they are still looking for witnesses who have not spoken to investigators regarding the accident. Anyone with additional information related to the accident can contact the Amherst Police Department at 689-1311.
