BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) – Baseball in Buffalo returns for its 143rd season when the Buffalo Bisons take the field on Thursday afternoon.
"Two hours before the game, all you can eat," Bisbing said. "If you have a ticket you can go. We also have a ticket buffet package. It's not going be the same buffet every day. We're going to change it multiple times, even during a homestand, based on whatever we can. If we're facing the Iron Pigs, there might be more bacon wrapped items."
"He's already ahead of schedule," Bisbing said. "We're excited to get him back. In my 16 years at the ballpark, I've never seen a prospect like him. He lived up to the billing."
Other notable prospects to watch for include Cavan Biggio, the son of Hall of Famer Craig Biggio and Bo Bichette, the son of former Rockies four-time all-star Dante Bichette.
Thursday's first pitch against the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Gates open at 1 p.m. The first 1,000 will get a free Sahlen hot dog and the first 10,000 fans will get a magnetic schedule.
FULL DISCLOSURE: WBEN's Mike Baggerman is also a fill in play-by-play broadcaster for the Buffalo Bisons.
