The 75,000-square-foot One-Stop Community Center is set to open at some point this year and will aim to provide preventative services to decrease the rate of homelessness for individuals who are on the brink of it. Space within the $15 million center will be occupied by social service agencies, mental health services, medical care, job training, education, as well as basic needs such as food and clothing.

"Today's gift from the Patrick P. Lee Foundation represents the very best of what it means to serve others," said City Mission Associate Director Aubrey Calhoun. "Through their help, our new welcome center will serve as a place of inclusivity and comfort where they begin their journey to building a new life."
