David Michael Calaiacovo, a 61-year-old former school psychologist was charged with receipt of child pornography, which carries a potential prison sentence of 20 years and a $250,000 fine.

Kennedy noted that there is no current evidence to suggest that Calaiacovo had inappropriate contact with students, but they're seeking more information. The attorney's office wants help from the public in making sure they can prosecute Calaiacovo to the fullest extent of the law, and that means they want to know if there was any inappropriate contact between him and students during his decades-long tenure in local schools, most recently at Allendale Elementary School.

"I think prudence requires that we get this message out to the public so that parents can have conversations with their children to determine whether any such contact occurred," said Kennedy.

If you do have any information about Calaiacovo and believe it to be important in this case, officials are urging you to contact the HSI Buffalo Office Child Exploitation Tip Line at 716-464-6070 or email HSIBuffaloTips@ice.dhs.gov.

"This is the third time in as many months that an individual in a position of trust involving children has been arrested on child pornography charges," continued Kennedy. "It is our duty zealously to protect the most vulnerable among us, and these cases should serve as a warning to anyone who may engage in similar criminal behavior, we will find you, arrest you and prosecute you."
