Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A frosty Fall forecast is greeting Western New York for the weekend as the National Weather Service has posted a Frost Advisory for most of the region overnight into Saturday.
Temperatures overnight into Saturday morning are expected in the mid 30's and will result in frost.

WHEN: From midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Saturday.
IMPACTS: Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.

To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
