BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Extremely icy conditions resulted in a massive headache for commuters on Wednesday morning.

Texters to WBEN said they slipped in their driveways on their ways to the cars and most of the roads were underspeed.

The worst of the accidents was on I-190 northbound by Ontario Street, where eight vehicles were involved in an accident. Other accidents included the split at I-190 and I-290. Sweet Home Road closed on Wednesday morning because of various accidents.
