ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN) - Within the first few minutes of the Bills team store opening on Friday, some fans already inquired about jerseys for first-round pick Ed Oliver.

Fans can pre-order the jerseys online or visit the team store to get an early order on the jerseys, but Bills Retail Manager Jason Klein said it will take some time to get the jerseys in.

"We will hold that order until he picks his number and we'll deliver," Klein told WBEN. "I've seen it take a couple days and I've seen it take a couple of weeks. It all depends on them finagling for a number with someone from the team or them just having a tough time picking what number they want. Obviously, it's a big decision for any player. We're patient with it."

First-round picks, especially those within the top ten, typically get higher sales. Klein also said offensive picks are more popular in sales numbers than defensive numbers.

Shortly after the team drafted Oliver, fans received an e-mail where they an use the offer code "DRAFT2019" to get free shipping on their orders. The offer expires Monday at 11:59 p.m. Klein said they prepared for the draft pick by creating multiple jerseys.
