BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) – New York State has released its guidelines for phase two of reopening.
Industries that are eligible to reopen in phase two include offices, real estate, in-store retail, vehicle sales, retail rental, commercial building management, and hair salons and barbershops.
The Western New York region, which includes Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties, is eligible to begin reopening at soon as June 2. However, there is confusion statewide about if the region will be reopen, even if it has met all the metrics. Governor Andrew Cuomo has not given clarification.
