Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The US Attorney’s Office and other law enforcement personnel announce the 24-count indictment of illegal narcotics and the related burning of human bodies in a car on Box Avenue. Jariel Cobb, James Reed, and Deandre Wilson face life in prison.
US Attorney JP Kennedy says Cobb and Wilson committed the murders of Miguel Anthony Valentin-Colon, Nicole Marie Merced-Plaud, and Dhamyl Roman Audiffree. Kennedy says Reed helped them burn the bodies after they were dead. A medical examiner’s report says they were beaten, shot to death and then burned.
Kennedy says police were led to the scene after Valentin-Colon's and Merced-Plaud's three year old child was discovered on a porch nearly a half mile away on Potomac Avenue.
Kennedy will not release any evidence other than to say there was evidence found in Lake Erie and on the Google cloud.
Cobb and Wilson could face the death penalty, according to Kennedy. However, AG Barr has not weighed in whether the death penalty will be sought.
