So, this is Spring? Dreary, wet and cold.

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - It seems we're stuck on the April showers part of the old saying.  And it also seems we're stuck on temperatures more suited for March, not May.

Misery likes company, right?  "We're not alone in this", says Hitchcock, "it's been below normal really in the entire eastern half of the country for all Spring and there's no sign of a permanent breakout."

It may make us all feel better to know it could be worse.  And it is, elsewhere.

AccuWeather says the air was even cold enough Mother's Day for snow to whiten the Catskill Mountains in southeastern New York and the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.
