Citizens Bank Providing Small Business Relief

The New York State Bar Association says it has settled on September 9th and 10th as the dates for the recently postponed summer bar exam.  Applicants wishing to participate in the bi-annual test for prospective attorneys will be able to sign up for the exam between May 5th and May 30th.

Community organizations and small businesses in upstate New York will receive $420,000 in funding as part of a previously announced initiative from Citizens Bank.  Citizens Bank will direct more than $5 million to support relief and recovery across communities it serves, including $320,000 that will go directly to small businesses across the state.  The deadline to apply for these $15,000 grants is this Friday.


Bishop Ed Scharfenberger has announced the appointment of Sister Mary McCarrick as Chief Operating Officer for the Buffalo Catholic Diocese.  Sister Mary was previously the Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities of Buffalo from 2010-2018.
