Charter Communications has pledged it will make no layoffs or furloughs for at least the next 60 days. The announcement expands on actions already taken by the company in support of its employees, including permanent wage increases for all hourly workers from $15 to $20 over the next two years.
Business First noting that three JetBlue airplanes have been grounded at Buffalo Niagara International Airport for the past few weeks. Like other airlines, Jet Blue has seen a marked decrease in passengers. JetBlue pays the NFTA $250 daily per jet to park the planes.
