Domenic is the President of Cortese Construction Services. The business was founded by Domenic’s dad and uncle and currently is owned and operated as a third-generation business. Domenic is best known for his radio call-in show on WBEN 930 AM, HAMMERTIME-RADIO™ with Domenic Cortese. His radio show has been on the air since April 1989 and can be heard each Saturday morning at 10:00am. Domenic also is host of the TV show HAMMERTIME-TV™ which airs Sunday mornings at 10:30am.
Founded in 1951, Cortese Construction has traveled a long road to get where they are today. Two brothers by the name of Frank and Nick Cortese came to the U.S.A with nothing at all but an aspiration of living the American Dream. Without any knowledge of how the Western World operated, and a serious language barrier, Frank and Nick founded what is today one of the largest home remodeling companies in Buffalo and the surrounding WNY are. Known as Buffalos’ premier general contractor, they won The Better Homes and Gardens Magazine award for best Kitchen and best Bath in the United States. It was the first time in the magazines history that a kitchen and bath in the same house both won first place.
