The Rebels offense averaged 490-plus yards per game in Broeker’s five years at Mississippi, being a starter in three of those seasons.
Here is what NFL analyst Chad Reuter had to say about the Native of Springfield Illinois:
Broeker was a four-star recruit from Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois, before making his way to Oxford. He earned quite a bit of playing time as a true freshman, suiting up in all 12 games as a key reserve and seeing more than 30 snaps in most games. Broeker started all 10 games of the Rebels' 2020 season and all 13 games in 2021. He slid in to play left guard in 2022, garnering second-team All-SEC accolades after not allowing a single sack in 435 pass-blocking snaps in his 13 starts,
Broeker is the second guard taken in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Bills. The first one O'Cyrus Torrence, who was drafted 59th overall in Round 2 of the draft.
The Bills have one more pick in the 2023 NFL Draft in the seventh round at 252 overall.
