Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550/WBEN) - For already the second time this 2023 season, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. This time, it comes following a stellar Week 4 performance against the Miami Dolphins at Highmark Stadium.

During Sunday's 48-20 win over the Dolphins, Allen completed 21-of-25 passing attempts for 320 yards and four touchdowns, while also registering a perfect passer rating of 158.3. His performance helped the Bills earn a third win in-a-row and a crucial victory in the AFC East.

One of the more notable plays from Sunday's win came very early in the first quarter on the Bills' second touchdown of the game. Allen led the offense 79 yards down the field in just over two-and-a-half minutes, and capped off the drive with a tight pass to wide receiver Stefon Diggs for the first of three touchdown connections between the two.

This is now the 12th time Allen has been awarded the honor of AFC Offensive Player of the Week, extending his franchise record set earlier this season in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

It is the third-straight week a Bills player has earned Player of the Week honors in the AFC. Linebacker Terrel Bernard was honored as the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his Week 3 performance against the Washington Commanders.
