Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550/WBEN) - The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed restricted free agent Jack Quinn to a two-year contract on Friday worth a total of $6.75 million contract, which averages out to $3.375 million per-season.
Two seasons ago, Quinn had to fight through two major injuries, but still scored nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points in just 27 games. That would work out to 27 goals over 82 games.
Last season, Quinn could never get going, which led head coach Lindy Ruff to make him a healthy scratch more than once. In 74 games, Quinn scored 15 goals and added 24 assists for 39 points in 74 games.
Overall, the 23-year-old has played 178 NHL games, scoring 39 goals and registering 58 assists for 97 points.
Quinn was Buffalo's first-round pick (eighth overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft, and the first selection of general manager Kevyn Adams.
