BUFFALO (WBEN) - The Buffalo Bisons are showing their appreciation to frontline healthcare workers by offering two free tickets to home opening weekend, August 14-15.
At either game, any healthcare employee who worked on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle can receive their complementary by showing their employer ID at the Sahlen Field Box Office.
"We're just so excited to be back at the ballpark and have the Bisons back in Buffalo after almost two years without having the Herd at Sahlen Field, and none of that would be possible today if it wasn't for the dedication, passion, and hard work of the frontline healthcare workers right here in Western New York," said Assistant General Manager Brad Bisbing.
Saturday's game will feature a Replica Bisons Jersey Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans in attendance and Sunday's game includes postgame Kids Run the Bases, as young fans will get their first chance to get back on the field at Sahlen Field.
