The TSA checkpoint at Buffalo Niagara International Airport is now using new technology to confirm the validity of a traveler's identification. Using this new credential authentication technology, passengers approaching the checkpoint need only to hand over their ID, which is scanned to verify them as being prescreened to travel. Travelers still need to check-in with their airline in advance and bring their boarding pass to their gate agent to show the airline representative before boarding their flight.
Perry's Ice Cream Company, Inc. is hoping to hit a homerun in its partnership with Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians. The Akron, NY based Perry's has created Doughing, Doughing, Gone!™ - its first-ever official co-branded premium ice cream flavor. It's made up of chocolate cookie dough ice cream with crushed cookie swirls and cookie dough pieces. The flavor will be available in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
Optum has once again named Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center a Center of Excellence for pediatric and adult populations. The designation is for providing quality treatment for cancer patients. Roswell is the only such designated center in Western and Upstate New York.
