Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Barnes & Noble is opening a new location at the Walden Galleria next Wednesday at 10 a.m. The bookstore is taking over the former Williams Sonoma site next to Apple and across from Bath & Body Works. Barnes & Noble CEO James Daunt says the mall is a "perfect fit" for the bookseller.

Hamburg Overhead Door has received Women-Owned Business Certification from New York State. The status gives the company more opportunities to attract new customers, priority for contracts and access to special funds for minority and women-owned businesses. Owner Jennifer Kuhn says she's been working on getting the certification for three and a half years.
