
Univera Healthcare and its Rochester-based parent health plan are providing $50,000 in financial support to domestic violence prevention organizations across upstate New York as part of its response to the COVID-19 crisis. In Western New York, funding will be provided to the Family Justice Center and Pinnacle Community Services.
Hook & Ladder Development Co. keeps extending its reach on Seneca Street. According to Business First, the group paid $210,000 for the building that was formerly home to the Schupper House sports bar at 2215 Seneca Street. That happens to be across the street from their Cookies & Cream ice cream parlor which opened in September.
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court Western District of New York gave its approval to a proposal to sell the Newfane campus of Eastern Niagara Hospital to Costello Holdings for $1 million. Costello plans either senior housing or assisted living for that site.
