Three women were stabbed Friday night inside the Walden Galleria Mall lower concourse before Cheektowaga Police Officers responded to the report of a fight involving multiple women at the mall.
During the incident, police say 22-year-old Lakeya Richerson of Buffalo and 21-year-old Joshalyn Paul of Buffalo are alleged to have used knives to assault three other adult women.
Both women were quickly located and arrested by responding officers and each were charged with three counts of Assault in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of Weapon in the 4th Degree. They are being held in custody pending arraignment.
All three victims appeared to sustain non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Erie County Medical Center for further evaluation.
