Rochester, N.Y. (WBEN) - A police situation shut down the New York State Thruway between Exits 45 and 46 near Rochester early Thursday morning.
The shutdown of the I-90 started shortly after 3 a.m., according to an X post by the New York State Thruway Authority. State Police confirmed to WBEN the situation involved a barricaded person with a firearm.
Police did make an arrest at around 6 a.m.
