Fredonia, N.Y. (WBEN) - All water customers in the Village of Fredonia in Chautauqua County are being advised t hey must boil all water used for cooking and drinking effective immediately.
The village says there has been a disruption in its disinfection treatment of the water, making the water not safe to drink. Residents are asked to bring all water used for drinking or cooking to a rolling boil, then cool before using.
Village officials say they will notify residents when it is no longer necessary to boil water.
