Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Sunday night near Eller Avenue and Heminway Street in Buffalo.
Police say a 17-year-old male arrived at Erie County Medical Center in a civilian vehicle just after 10 p.m. EST after being struck by gunfire. The Buffalo teenager was listed in stable condition at ECMC.
According to police, the civilian vehicle that the male arrived in at ECMC was a stolen vehicle. After the vehicle left the hospital Sunday night, officers pulled over that vehicle following a pursuit.
During the pursuit, an officer suffered a broken leg while chasing the suspects on foot.
A total of four individuals are facing weapons possession charges and also assaulting an officer, plus additional charges could be forthcoming.
Buffalo Police say four guns were recovered, including three handguns and an assault rifle.
