For the third time this week, a house in Clarence sold for more than $1 million.

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN)....For the fourth time this week, a house in Erie County has sold for more than $1 million.

And, for the Town of Clarence three of those four homes were in that northern Erie County suburban town.


In the latest deal, a newly-constructed house at 9709 Longleaf Trail sold for $1.25 million. The house was developed by Natale Homes.

Since the first of the year, Clarence has seen nine homes in the town sell for north of $1 million.

Overall, in Erie County there has been 28 homes that have sold for above the $1 million-plus threshold.

To date, a $1 million-plus home has sold once every 4.25 days.

If current trends continue, Erie County could see as many as 85 homes sell this year for more than $1 million.

Last year, 105 homes in Erie County sold for more than $1 million.

The $1 million-plus threshold is considered a key economic indicator with the regional residential real estate industry.
